ES+ADV: Travelling classroom. Spanish and adventure travel: If you come for a short time and apart from learning Spanish want to travel around the country, this is the right course for you. Spanish and adventure trip is the best way to know Bogota, travel to marvelous destinations and learn Spanish during holidays. We will experience a series of trips to places which are unique for their nature, fauna, flora and inhabitants, who truly will remain in your mind. In Bogota, the module comprises 3 weeks with different activities, tours and Spanish lessons, all of these included in the price.

The classes, tours and main activities included during these 3 weeks are:

45 hours of Spanish lessons, from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 m.

15 hours of cultural activities, to places with historical, natural or cultural riches, according to the weekly activities program (cultural activities take place twice a week after classes). These activities will help you not only to know Bogota and practice Spanish in the daily life, but also to relate to other people.

Excursion to Villa de Leyva on a weekend: Villa de Leyva is a village with a fascinating architecture, full of History and with a very pleasant environment. The town has beautiful restaurants, cafes and bars, as well as innumerable places filled with natural attractions. The excursion includes the following fares:

Transfer from Bogota to Villa de Leyva (round trip),

Accommodation at a standard touristy hotel, with private bathroom in the room.

Visit to Raquira (town famous for its beautiful handicraft).

Visit to Bridge of Boyaca, place where Bolivar joined one of the most important independence battles.

Visit to Desert of La Candelaria to see dinosaur fossils and an antique monastery.

Visit to Chiquinquira, town where the Basílica of Chiquinquira Virgin (matron of the Colombian people), is located.

Horse riding around Bogota in the late afternoon. Including the transfer from Bogota, the accompanying by a school representative, renting of the horses and return trip to the city.

Rafting or Rappel. According to the weather conditions and rainy season prior to your visit, we will have one of these activities at a river located in La Vega, a warm town very close to Bogota. The tour includes the transfer from Bogota on Saturday or Sunday, the accompanying of a specialized guide, the security materials such as raft, helmets and oars for the rafting or ropes, harnesses and helmet for the rappelling.

Visit to Zipaquira: The Salt Cathedral of Zipaquira is one of the 7 wonders of Colombia, if you are in Bogota you can’t miss to meet this spectacular architectural peace. A colosal underground cathedral. This spiritual and magical place will be unforgettable for you and your close ones. The tour is designed for you to go in the morning and return to Bogota at the beginning of the afternoon.

Visit to the enchanted lagoon of Guatavita: We will visit the Guatavita lagoon, which is a sacred lagoon for the Chibchas tribe. The legend of El Dorado has its origin in the rite by which the Zipa (Chibcha’s chief) submerged in this lagoon with his body covered in gold dust and honey, while he offered beautiful gold pieces to the lagoon god. Many of the gold pieces at the Gold Museum were found in this place. The lagoon of Guatavita is located inside a Natural Park, with a shocking nature.

Guided outing through the Historic center of the city: We will visit, accompanied by a guide, all of the Historic center of the city, during a spectacular walk by the main places of La Candelaria neighborhood that you can’t miss to know.
